Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Lestage felt a little conservative on the nose, more herbaceous than its peers but well defined, unapologetically classic in style (and there is nothing wrong with that). The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, crisp acidity, structured and dense, a Listrac that will need three to four years in bottle to show what it can do. Tasted September 2017.
