The red 2014 El Sender is a blend of 60% Garnacha, 30% Syrah and 10% Morenillo aged for six months in a mixture of French and Central European oak barrels, with 15% of the wine matured in egg-shaped cement vats. The nose mixes aromas of red fruit and balsamic and honeyed notes, reminiscent of bees wax and pollen. The palate is fresh, with good balance between power and elegance. Approachable and easy to drink. 46,500 bottles produced.
