The red 2019 El Sender was produced with a blend of 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 10% Morenillo fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts and matured mostly in 300-liter French and Central European oak barrels for six months, with 15% of the wine matured in egg-shaped concrete vats. It's expressive and fruit-driven, with ripe berry aromas, a heady 14.38% alcohol and a juicy texture, rich and round, with very fine tannins, integrated oak and a long, dry finish. 50,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
