Blended of 35% Shiraz, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot, the 2007 Clancy’s gives a deep garnet color and spicy aromas of cloves, nutmeg, cumin and vanilla over blackberry, menthol and a touch of mocha. Full bodied with crisp acid and a good concentration of juicy fruit, it has a medium level of chewy tannins lending texture to the long finish. Drink it now to 2015. Peter Lehman produces a solid range of well made wines that, if lacking a bit of soul, are nonetheless very drinkable.Importer: The Hess Collection New World Wines, Napa, CA
