The 2015 Txakoli White is bottled with unreleased carbon dioxide, which gives it a spritz of freshness. Made from two local grapes, 90% Hondarrabi Zuri and 10% Hondarrabi Beltza, the wine is basically the Spanish version of a Muscadet from France, but with loads of CO2, plenty of minerality, crisp grapefruit and other almost lemon/lime-like citrus. It is light-bodied, crisp and the perfect marriage for the seafood and shellfish of the local area.
