The 2007 Pinot Noir Cherry Grove Vineyard (planted in 2000 and located just north of Gaston) was sourced from a single block of the vineyard. Dark ruby in color with an already complex aromatic array of Asian spices, herbs, incense, black cherry, and pomegranate, on the palate it displays outstanding depth with extra layers of spicy fruit, more succulence than most 2007 Pinots, excellent concentration, and a pure, fruit-filled finish. Drink this outstanding effort from 2012 to 2019.
