The 2006 Pinot Noir Cherry Grove Vineyard has plenty of spice and good concentration but is slightly one-dimensional on the palate. Tasty black fruits on the palate lead to a savory, spicy finish. Drink it through 2014. Boedecker Cellars is the winery of husband/wife team Athena Pappas and Stewart Boedecker. The wines are all produced from contracted fruit and bottled in Stelvin screw caps in their new winery in an industrial section of Portland.
