The 2015 Petit Hipperia was cropped from a warm year and is a blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot (the Cabernet Franc is increasing and they are reducing the Merlot). It fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts after a cold soak and matured in French barriques for 11 months. It's a textbook Bordeaux blend, with the berries, the minty and balsamic notes and a fruit-driven personality. The palate is juicy and soft. Very easy to drink. 42,556 bottles were filled in January 2017.
