The 2004 Clos d’Englora is 36 % Garnacha, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Carinena, Merlot, Syrah, and Ull de Liebre aged for 14 months in French and American oak. It offers up a perfume of liquid mineral, smoke, underbrush, black cherry, and blackberry leading to a slightly rustic, structured wine with good flavors, plenty of spice, and 3-5 years of aging potential. Drink it from 2013 to 2024.
