There is an unusual charred nose of burnt violets in the 2014 Graciano, a wine that revealed a curious personality with some herbal notes and something earthy. It is exotic, but it doesn't really drive me crazy. The palate shows some bitter tannins that might be derived from the Hungarian oak aging. 9,300 bottles.

The 2007 Tobia Graciano was aged for 10 months in new Hungarian oak. It reveals a super-fragrant, perfumed nose of boysenberry, pomegranate, and raspberry, spice box, and earth notes.
