A rich red, this starts out open and accessible, turning denser and taut as it develops. The finish is very tight and firm, yet overall this is well-balanced, with black cherry, raspberry and black tea notes that remain intense and focused. Best from 2015 through 2030. 100 cases imported. -BS

Plum jam and some filtered coffee aromas follow through to a full body, with chewy tannins and a slightly austere, woody finish. Should soften with a little bottle age. Best after 2011. 5,415 cases made. -JS
