The 2007 Luenzo is absolutely gorgeous in this vintage. Sweet, open and seductive, it flows across the palate with layers of radiant fruit. Tobacco, smoke, dried flowers and French oak frame the finish. The 2007 does not appear to be a wine to hold on to for too long, but it is drinking beautifully right now. The 2007 Luenzo is 97% Sangiovese and 3% Colorino, aged in 100% new oak barrels. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. Importer: Montecastelli Selections, New York, NY; tel. (212) 414-4898
