The unfiltered 1997 Cuvee 105 (made from 70% old vine Syrah and 30% old vine Grenache) is a terrific value. The saturated ruby/purple color is accompanied by jammy, sweet aromas of black cherries and cassis intertwined with truffles as well as licorice. This medium to full-bodied, succulent, velvety-textured, hedonistically-styled fruit bomb can be drunk now and over the next 4-5 years. This particular cuvee is only available in the USA market.
