An approachable and juicy red blend, the 2018 Serras del Priorat was produced with Garnacha, Cari?ena and Syrah and matured in well-seasoned French oak barrels for seven months, with part of the wine kept in stainless steel. It has a young and fruit-driven profile, with ripe fruit and the touch of freshness from 2018. It feels medium-bodied, quite balanced and delicate within the juicy and approachable style. It has fine tannins and subtle earthiness, coming through as a very serious effort, among the best (if not the best) vintages for this bottling, where the varieties are very nicely integrated. They produce between 12,000 and 15,000 bottles of this wine. It was bottled in June 2019.
