The red 2022 The Flower And The Bee Sousón, is varietal, fruit-driven and juicy, with a touch of rusticity and a moderate 12.5% alcohol for a warm year. 15,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in July 2023.

The fruit-driven 2020 The Flower And The Bee Sousón has nicely integrated oak and is pleasantly spicy and smoky with notes of ripe berries and some gritty tannins. These reds need food and/or time. 15,000 bottles produced.

There is a floral note in the nose of the 2018 The Flower And The Bee Sousón, and it has better balance and more polished tannins, as I already saw how it was in the previous vintage. It has a varietal profile with some rusticity but enough elegance to make it approachable. 15,000 bottles were filled in November 2019, after a slightly longer élevage in tank, which might have contributed to polish it further.

The characterful and somewhat rustic 2016 The Flower And The Bee Sousón fermented in stainless steel and matured in 300- and 500-liter oak barrels for four months, but the oak is neatly folded into the wine and doesn't take a leading role. This shows better balance and more polished tannins than previous vintages, which makes it a lot more drinkable. It's tasty and somewhat earthy, and it should do well with food. 15,000 bottles were filled in July 2017.

The 2015 The Flower And The Bee Sousón is fermented in stainless steel and aged for four months in 300 and 500-liter oak barrels. It really reminds me of the 2014, especially the palate with its abundant tannins and high acidity that make it a bit too harsh for an entry-level red that is supposed to be approachable and easy to drink. It feels lively, young and fresh, mixing aromas of wild berries and herbs with a spicy touch and some creaminess. 15,000 bottles were filled in April 2016.
