The 2013 C?tes du Rh?ne Les Claux Blanc is a rocking white from the south of France that offers pretty, Condrieu-like (despite there being no Viognier in the blend) notes of apricot, banana and citrus to go with a supple, fruit-forward, delicious feel on the palate. Made from equal parts Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Roussanne that was brought up all in concrete, with lots of lees contact, it should represent a solid value and drink nicely for 1-2 years, possibly longer.
