The 2009 Merlot gives a deep garnet-purple color and lifted black raspberry and red plum notes with and a whiff of mint. It has a medium to full body and plenty of ripe juicy fruit supported by medium-high acid and a low to medium level of soft tannins, finishing medium-long.
