The single-vineyard 2013 Vernaccia di San Gimignano Vigna del Sole reveals a pretty degree of complexity with round notes of creamy fruit, apricot, grapefruit and Golden Delicious apple. There's a touch of natural rubber as well and the wine ends with dusty mineral nuances. Like the base wine, this cru-selection of Vernaccia shows a wide, broad approach.
