The 2012 Barbaresco Roncaglie is a simple and direct expression of Nebbiolo with thin lines and a sharp, easy feel.

The 2011 Barbaresco Roncaglie offers straightforward aromas of milk chocolate, blueberry, leather and wet earth. Summer heat forced a rapid ripening of fruit and the bouquet is less nuanced and complex as a result. There’s a textured quality to the mouthfeel with a point of sour cherry on the close.
