The 2009 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley was sourced mainly from the Chehalem Mountain AVA. Made from older vines than the Tavola, it is darker in color, more perfumed, and more structured. Even so, it is a laid back, easy-to-understand Pinot with good balance and length that will provide enjoyment over the next 6-8 years. Tel. (503) 628-1227; www.ponziwines.com
