Blended of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, NV Brut is a traditional method sparkler comprised mainly of 2007 fruit. Having spent about 2 years on its lees, it yields toasty, biscuity aromas over green apple, some peach blossom and acacia honey. Crisp, fresh and with fine frisky bubbles, it has a long finish and is for drinking now. Husband and wife team Steve and Monique Lubiana are at the helm of this small, family run operation just north of Hobart. The estate has been organically managed for 7-8 years and is in the process of converting to biodynamics. Average annual production is around 10,000 cases.No known US importer.
