The 2009 Pallagrello Nero & Casavecchia Castello delle Femmine shows better balance than the two single-variety bottlings. Flowers, smoke and ash add complexity to the dark fruit in this relatively straightforward Campanian red. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017. The 2010 whites are the highlights of these new releases from Terre del Principe.
