Trentadue continues to produce some excellent values, none better than their field blend of mixed varietals called Old Patch Red. The 2005 represents a California version of a French Cotes du Rhone. Aromas of strawberries, cherries, earth, pepper, herbs, and spice emanate from this medium-bodied, straightforward, satisfying red wine. Consume it over the next 1-2 years. Tel.
