The Peglidis Vineyard is in Watervale (Clare Valley) and is situated at 450 meters above sea level. The vines are planted in loam/limestone. I love the succulent 2022 acidity! This 2022 Peglidis Vineyard Watervale Riesling is fiercely intense and layered with lime flesh, pink grapefruit, green apples (Granny Smith, right before they're ripe) and ginger flower. Awesome. The minerality creeps in through the very long finish. I wrote this entire note off a single sip and took only a second to confirm it. It's a brilliant wine. Sealed under screw cap.

Classic scents of green apple and lime emanate from the 2018 Peglidis Vineyard Watervale Riesling. It's medium-bodied, smooth and streamlined, with a crisp, slightly chalky-textured finish. It's delicious now and should drink well for up to a decade (and possibly longer).
