Senorio de Barahonda has produced a number of excellent value-priced wines that are listed on the Best Buy chart at the end of this report. At the top end of the range, the 2006 Heredad de Candela is 100% Monastrell aged for 9 months in new 500-liter French oak. Dark ruby-colored, the wine offers up a slightly exotic perfume of wood smoke, leather, and wild blue fruits.
