The first rate Meursault Boucheres is a feminine wine. Aromatically, it offers minerals and nuts, and on its complex, silky, and medium-to-full-bodied palate there are layers of flowers, wild mushrooms, lemons and toast. This well-balanced and elegant wine should be at its peak from 2001 to 2005. The rating, with the range of scores in parentheses, indicates the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle.
