The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley was aged for 20 months in French oak, 75% new. It sails out of the glass with notions of warm cassis, blackberry pie and stewed plums with hints of spice cake, clove oil and cedar chest. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of baked black berry flavors and compelling dried herbs sparks, framed by chewy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing just a little firm. 1,514 cases were produced.
