Aging remarkably well, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Roussanne Pure was fermented and aged in new barriques. Intense scents of caramel, honey and pear appear on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is amazingly bright, fresh and zesty, finishing long and pure. I don't know how much longer I would hold it, but the 2001 (albeit a very different vintage) is also still drinking well.
