The 2007 Riesling Ara, which is sourced from Yamhill and the Brooks Estate, has a very intense bouquet with grapefruit, white peach, touches of petrol and overripe oranges all very well defined. The palate is quite rounded on the entry with toffee-tinged green fruit, although I would have preferred more acidity on the finish to lend the tension that does come through on the 2012 tasted alongside. Not a bad Riesling at all, but I would drink any bottles in the near future rather than cellaring long-term.
