The 2014 Pegaso Granito was surprisingly elegant, expressive and aromatic, from a year that seems terribly balanced. With no oak whatsoever, this has fine earthiness and minerality, with lively acidity, a granite backbone that provides freshness and some austerity and a very supple finish. 2014 was a higher yielding year, and the vines seem to have achieved better balance. 5,187 bottles produced.
