The 1995 Pinot Gris is one of the better examples of this wine I have tasted in California. It is not a blockbuster, viscous Pinot Gris in the style of top Alsatian producers, but, rather, a medium-bodied, ripe, graceful, dry Pinot Gris with plenty of fresh fruit. This wine should offer considerable flexibility with food. In order to secure a bottle or two of this wine, it is a good idea to get on the winery's mailing list as the quantities are small, and are largely sold directly to mailing list clients. Tel.
