The 1997 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard is a sumptuously rich, dark ruby/purple-colored wine with soaring aromas of blackberry/framboise and cherry jam. One of the more hedonistic, lushly-textured, and sumptuous Pinot Noirs I have tasted from Siduri, it will be a huge success with readers lucky enough to latch onto a few bottles. It should drink well for 3-5 years. This winery continues to specialize in high quality Pinot Noir from some of the best vineyard sites in California and Oregon.
