Almost every good Pinot Noir producer who buys grapes in California seems to want to make a wine from the Pisoni Vineyard in Monterey's Santa Lucia Highlands. Siduri's 1998 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard is an outstanding wine. It displays good underlying tangy acidity (more noticeable in this wine than in other offerings), a pronounced sweet bing cherry fruitiness, medium body, and an emphasis on finesse and elegance.
