Among the reds, the 2001 Reserva, made from 50% Grenache, 25% Carignan, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged 24 months in French and American oak, is dark ruby in color with scents of cherry, earth, and black currants with toasty vanilla in the background. The wine has good depth and balance with complex dark fruit flavors and ripe tannins. Give it 2-4 years in the cellar and drink it over the following 8-10 years.
