The 2009 Reserva is 50% Garnacha and the other half made up of equal parts of Carinena and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for two years in used French oak barrels. The nose reveals very ripe fruit, aromas of licorice, leather, tar and some spicy and flowery notes, while the palate is medium-bodied, with abundant dusty tannins and a slightly drying finish.
