Deep ruby-purple colored and containing 8% Viognier, the 2016 Syrah Sonoma Coast is shy to begin, opening to red and black cherries, smoked meats, olive, bitter chocolate and crushed stone with warm blackcurrants, aniseed and dried violets. It's medium to full-bodied with intense, mineral-tinged fruits and savory nuances. It has a frame of ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long. 866 cases produced.
