The 2006 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard was fermented with some whole clusters. It is medium ruby-colored with a slightly muted nose that reveals cedar, mineral, cherry, and raspberry. Quite structured for the vintage, on the palate this medium- to full-bodied wine is firm and nicely balanced by ample black cherry and black raspberry fruit. It will evolve for 2-3 years and drink well from 2010 to 2018.
Bethel Heights Vineyard continues to be a reliable source for Oregon Pinot Noir under winemaker Terry Casteel.
