The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières derives from similarly prime holdings, located just before the Clos des Perrières of Grivault. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of pear, green apple, freshly baked bread, Meyer lemon and oyster shell, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and sensual, with a satiny attack that leads into a rich, layered mid-palate. Given the location of the plot, it's not surprising that this is a broader, more "grand cru" interpretation of Perrières in contrast to some of the climat's more chiseled renditions.
