The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition is 50% Grenache, 20% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre and 10% Cinsault, and spent 18 months in 60% concrete tanks and 40% barrels. It’s shows a darker, classic style as well as lots of meatiness, garrigue, earth and black cherry fruit. It’s nicely concentrated and is a rich, chewy effort to drink through 2027.
