The 2008 Serrise (Ciliegiolo) comes across as a touch round around the edges, but nevertheless possesses considerable personality. Dark wild cherries, flowers, underbrush and spices are some of the layers that build towards the bold finish. I imagine the Serrise is best enjoyed at the dinner table.
