Chapoutier has excelled with the firm's Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers in 1993. Made from less than one ton per acre, it displays a dark ruby/purple color, a spicy, crisp, subtlely herbaceous and smoky nose, tasty, medium-bodied, ripe flavors, low acidity, and an attractive, fleshy finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
