The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa (a 1,000+ case cuvee from five separate sites) is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (about 70% new French oak is used), and the consulting winemaker is Paul Hobbs. The 2007 exhibits a dense purple color as well as a beautiful bouquet of blueberries, blackberries, incense, licorice and pen ink. Full-bodied, concentrated and powerful, with silky tannins and an exuberant, flashy style, it should drink well for 10-15 years. This small, high quality boutique producer makes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River area as well as some exceptionally fine Cabernet Sauvignon from various vineyards in Napa.Tel.
