Valdipiatta’s 2006 Rosso di Montepulciano is a fragrant, accessible red with attractive dark red fruit and a medium-bodied personality. A blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo and 5% Mammolo, it was aged predominantly in steel, although a small portion of the wine spent a few months in French oak.
