The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (2,500 cases) spent 22 months in French oak, of which 50% was new. This blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 8% Cabernet Franc exhibits straightforward cassis fruit, firm tannin, medium body, excellent color saturation, and sweet tannin in the long finish. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2015.
