The Fergus is a Grenache-based offering that includes small quantities of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Mint as well as eucalyptus are found in the 2000 The Fergus. Displaying more color saturation than the 2001, as well as a fuller, fleshier palate presence, plenty of black cherry and cassis fruit, and a moderately long finish, it should drink well for 4-5 years.
