The 2010 Meursault La Seve du Clos, from 120+ year-old vines in L’Ormeau, is a rich, seamless wine graced with exquisite depth and purity. It possesses remarkable textural richness while maintaining quite a bit of verve. The aromas and flavors wrap around the palate all the way through the seamless, inviting finish. This is another highly promising wine from Arnaud Ente. Anticipated maturity: 2013+. Arnaud Ente began picking very early, on September 1st. The 2009s spent approximately one year in oak, followed by six months in steel. New oak was around 25%. The 2009s were bottled in March 2010 with no fining or filtration.. I tasted the 2010s from oak. Both vintages are very strong.Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524
