The gem in the lineup is the 2007 Rasteau Heritage 1924. This Grenache-dominated beauty was brought up all in concrete tanks and tastes like the essence of these steep, clay vineyards with its garrigue, spice, licorice and black currant aromas and flavors. While it’s drinking at point today and is fully mature, it has the depth of fruit and concentration to continue evolving gracefully for at least 5-6 years.
