The 2011 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Rasteau Heritage 1924 is 100% Grenache from a vineyard planted in 1924. Rich and soft with velvety tannin, full body and a long, heady, spicy finish, it reveals some of the chocolaty/scorched earth notes for which Rasteau is well-known.

This outstanding estate is located in Rasteau and owns over 160 acres of vines. Proprietor Gilles Ferran uses his friend Philippe Cambie as his consulting oenologist, even though Ferran himself was trained as an oenologist at the University of Montpellier. These are all top-notch wines.
