The 2013 Maremma Toscana Le Sughere di Frassinello is a hot seller and with 95,000 bottles produced, it should not be difficult to locate. The blend consists of Sangioveto, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The oak is evident but it is also folded nicely within the thickness of the wine. Rich flavors of dark fruit, spice, licorice and grilled herb peel off in thick layers. This wine is really beginning to shine.

This red offers a hearty mix of black cherry, plum and pomegranate flavors, with earth and underbrush elements. On the brawny side, revealing dusty tannins on the finish.
