Inky ruby. Wild, oak-spiced aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, licorice and smoky Indian spices. Sweet cherry-vanilla and mocha flavors coat the palate and show impressive depth as well as vivacity. Smoky and smooth on the finish, which emphatically echoes he blue fruit and vanilla notes. These are still young days for this wine, which really deserves some cellar time to absorb its oak, but it's pretty sexy right now.
